Hospital Referrals
As Malpas Surgery is situated close to the border of Shropshire and Wales, our patients can be referred to various hospitals and each place has its own set of criteria. We currently use the Choose and Book electronic system to refer patients to most hospitals in Cheshire and Shropshire. We can also refer to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital in Wales if a patient so wishes.
All referrals are treated on a case by case basis and it is the job of the Medical Secretary to assist the doctor and the patient in directing your referral to the desired place.
